On my way, the sun shines bright
I walk towards glory with all my might
Each step I take, my heart feels light
For I know I'm on the path to heavens site
Through valleys deep and mountains high
I journey on, my spirit soaring high
My eyes fixed on the golden sky
Where angels sing and stars multiply
On my way, I leave behind
All the worries and the daily grind
For in this moment, I am aligned
With my purpose, my soul defined
The road may be long, the journey tough
But I have faith, I have enough
To reach the place where love is enough
And pain and sorrow turn to dust
On my way, I pass by fields of green
Where flowers bloom and birds preen
They seem to whisper, 'you're almost there'
As I inhale the freshness in the air
Through the forests, I hear the call
Of creatures big and creatures small
They remind me to stand tall
For I am destined to conquer all
The wind carries the scent of the sea
And I know I'm getting close to thee
The place where my soul shall be free
And my heart shall forever be filled with glee
On my way, I see faces unfamiliar
But their warmth makes me feel familiar
Their smiles, their laughter, their love
Makes me forget all pain, all the push and shove
The road may have its twists and turns
But the lessons I learn, my heart yearns
To share with all those I meet
For they too have their own journey, their own defeat
On my way, I shed my fears
And all the doubts that held me near
For I know I'm on the path to glory
Where my story shall be etched in history
With each passing mile, my heart beats strong
For I know I won't be walking alone
The divine presence, with me all along
Guiding me towards my heavenly throne
On my way, I am surrounded by light
A shining beacon, oh what a sight
I feel my soul take flight
As I get closer to heavens height
With every step, I'm filled with awe
For words can't describe what I saw
The gates of heaven, wide open for me
A place where my soul shall truly be free
On my way, my heart sings a song
Of love and joy, it's been so long
Since I felt this pure and alive
On this journey, I truly thrive
The path may have been rocky and steep
But in this moment, I feel complete
For on my way, I found my purpose
And in heaven's site, I found my true bliss
As I reach the gates, I take a deep breath
For this is the moment, I've been waiting since birth
To enter the kingdom of love and light
On my way, to my eternal delight
With a smile on my face, I step inside
And all my worries, they seem to subside
For in this place, all is perfect and pure
And I know I have finally found my cure
On my way, to glory, to heavens site
I am filled with love, I am filled with delight
For this is where my soul shall forever reside
In this beautiful, eternal, heavenly ride.
