On Sunset Poem by Aleksandra Spaseska

On Sunset

Rating: 5.0

on the edge
of my baby's eyes
ranting, remembering:
-there used to be colour
and there used to be me.

coffees gone cold
smiles grown old.

you'd like to dip your feet
but my ocean is far too cold,
so stay here on the edge
the tide is sure to come.

lives gone pale
minds grown stale.

love is what we made of it,
life is what's left.
