I had a love once, it twinkled like stars.
Even when wind waged war on our story,
I thrived to add a chapter; wedding mass.
Night had its way as dawn; its own glory.
Once, I had a love, it bloomed like flower.
It was mild and calm like a wind at dusk,
Guiding us out of that house of fire,
I left it uncaged, even it went dark.
Once, I had a love, now it is long gone.
A child that I was; failed to hold its rage,
And no matter how it glowed like the sun;
Like sun too, it will surely quit the stage.
So, once I had a love, but failed its game,
Of all I could get, I got none but shame
