I knew when I saw you that
Nothing was truly different nor the same
But for some reason that night
You wanted me too and that
Created a sensation I will never forget
You made love to me so passionately
I knew I was wrong for that instance
Because for sure that wasn’t my plan
To find you in my bedroom and
Most definitely finding myself in your arms
I never thought that was, again, possible
That night, I felt your passion
Your love, your sentiment
You could never express yourself to me
Like this again. Impossible!
Although I tend to feel bad because
That was not my plan
But I lived that night, I heard myself
And I heard you too yearning for me
There is no sweet without salt
And you made me realize that, that night
Oh I thank you anyway
Of course it felt like pain, after
You turn around and left me all alone
And certainly when I know where
You’re heading to, or do I know?
I will never forget that one night
Where true love seemed possible
