One, One & One

Rating: 5.0

One, One, One, One is The Son
One’s The Father of all
One’s The Spirit of thus begun
The God on whom to call

Who is this One of whom men dream?
The One not flesh and bone
The living One who stands supreme
Who reigns on Heaven’s throne?

This Lord of lords this King of kings
Salvation’s Living Bread
This Song of songs that Heaven sings
Who raises from the dead

Is He The One we mortals seek?
The Root of Heaven’s Vine
Eternal strength, to those yet weak
The Tree of Life Divine

Is He The One with wondrous names?
The great I am of yore
The One who kindled hell’s great flames
Who’s life’s eternal door

Is He The One of whom we’ve heard?
The Book upon our shelf
The Truth, the Light, the Living Word
Author of life itself

Is He The One who’s born to reign?
Who’s life has had no start
The One who died who rose again
To dwell with man’s heart?

Is all creation truly His
The God who’s Lord and Friend
The One who was who always is?
Beginning & The End
