The one with mercy
Like the Samaritan lets
Go and do likewise

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The Samaritan looked at the beaten man and suffered with him - not physically, but in his heart and thoughts. Compassion took precedence over his plans. As a result, a person's life was saved.
