One Way Street Poem by Bloodshed 207

One Way Street

An empty soul walks the road alone,
Drifting aimlessly through his barren life.
Hopes and dreams rotted and slipping away,
Leaving nothing but dead memories in their place.
Hoping this nightmare would soon be over,
Waiting for the sunrise that will never come.
Unable to find an ending in sight,
A sense of a numbness completely envelopes him.
He collapses, unwilling to travel any further,
Slowly fading into the darkness without a sound.
