Only Hu

While I stand—Hu!
While I sit—Hu!
While I think—Hu!
While I read—Hu!
While I write—Hu!

While I wander—Hu!
While I ponder—Hu!

Only Hu, everywhere—
Hu, always Hu.
Hu, Hu, Hu.

While I am gladdened—Hu!
While I am saddened—Hu!

In joy—Hu!
In sorrow—Hu!
In silence—Hu!
In sound—Hu!

Only Hu, everywhere—Hu!
Hu, Hu, Hu.

When I raise my eyes to the Sky—Hu!
When I lower them to the Earth—Hu!

Hu above!
Hu below!
Hu on the right!
Hu on the left!
Hu before!
Hu behind!

In every direction,
at every destination,
in every beginning,
at every end—

Only Hu,
everywhere Hu!

The manifest—Hu!
The unmanifest—Hu!

The seen—Hu!
The unseen—Hu!

The known—Hu!
The unknown—Hu!

Hu, the First.
Hu, the Last.
Hu, the Apparent.
Hu, the Hidden.

Nothing escapes Hu.
Nothing stands outside Hu.

Wherever I turn,
whatever I behold,
whatever I hear,
whatever I become—

Hu.

And when even
the one who says "Hu"
falls silent—

Hu remains.
