Orchid Of Mine Poem by Marqese Dabbs

Orchid Of Mine

On this ground of color
An Orchard reaches out it's embracing arms
Love and peace drips from the sounds of bloom
Then there's her, Orchid of mine
Taking me with silky timbred dream state limbs
The texture of warmth echoes
Resonating from lifeforce to lifeforce
The great vines filled with time
I've drank the nectar of her earth chalice
So the day and night may beckon
Releasing my yearning
Drifting rays of the horizon
Letting beauty linger
Orchid of mine
She was clad by the witness beyond
Made from the aura of the sol
Like the wonderous petrichor pf the first morning
As she strips from her robes. the triptychs of the angel
Unfolding her wings,
Holding her hourglass figure
Engaging in colossal devourment, inscribed
Scents of the earth collide, touching the light
Fresh ignitement bloomed
As my lover stole my eyes and seared my mind
I understood love under the chambers of this world
The anatomy of creation, a womanly silhouette
Guiding my need for equilibrium
Only now and forever
Orchid of mine
