Otto, The Odd One Poem by Nicki Friis

Otto, The Odd One

Otto was part of Gen Z,
More spiritual than his peers, he chose to be.
He went against the grain and rejected the 'nice-guy' craze
For a different path, he had the courage to blaze.

He meditated each day seeking inner peace,
In his life only love did he seek to increase.
He refused to follow the social norms of his age
Choosing instead a more meaningful path to engage.

It didn't come without its challenges and strife,
But Otto wanted a much more fulfilling life.
He faced judgement from friends and foes alike,
But ultimately found a connection to his inner light.

Though his peers thought he was odd,
He carried on with strength and nod.
He chose to find contentment within,
A spirituality that his generation could never begin.
