Our 'Break' From My Point Of View Poem by Sierra Love

Our 'Break' From My Point Of View

the day your hand was stolen from my grasp
I was left alone...
with only the memory of your fingertips
to wipe away 3 days of tears
everyday we were apart
you found a way into my blurred veiw
and I was forced to watch from a distance
as your eyes dared me..
to hope for a lost chance
but I gave up hoping along with trust
dared me..
to accept the apologies for all the hurt you caused
but I gave up hurting along with love
how was I supposed to guess..
that the night I was finally strong enough to walk away
you would finally be weak enough to show you cared
calling me back into your arms
into my home
my haven
as soon as our skin touched
an addiction of the strongest kind embraced us
impossible to ignore
to fight
we gave into it
and I now stared bewildered
as your eyes no longer dared me
but begged me to hope
begged me to forgive
to trust
to love
I could never refuse you
I never will..
I love you baby.
