Our Love Song Poem by Kevin Patrick

Our Love Song

You are the needle, and I'll be the belt
Fueling this infliction, with our twisted passion
Cleaving sweet embraces with hungry talons poised
Finger tips searching weaknesses
in our quivered fleshes defenses
Foul Lips, sutured and mangled
in fresh homicide of kisses
Stinging, bandaged Hickes with soft violent caresses
No need for antiseptics, just rusted dagger glances
Covered in the gown of your iron maiden
I'll suffocate your stone work with acid wit indentation
Flay me as the entree for your main course of Water torture
Relentless cold enchantress, I'm the fisher for your malice
Taunted by the tautness of your elegant physique
Glacial posture frieze of the model beautiful
You put the 'mean' into meaningful
Hidden by the veil of your poker face mascara
But it takes two to tangle
And I will see you dangle
Expose you to despair of the entropic principle
My sign might be Taurus but Ill prove to be a better cancer
Laying siege with charm to strike the prideful blow
Seduce you with a smile then lay the
Macadamizing thorns,
Ensnare that temptress sophist
to a lachrymose special
Now we can sit with even scars matched to our allure
Unconquered by wounds that assails our destinies
For Hell are other people,
but we make it look beautiful
So I'll be the cardboard and you be the rain
True love can live, when you drown it in pain
And two straight jackets
show were definitely committed
So I'll be the incubus
and you'll be my succubus
And well burn this world down
With the fires of our desire
So far be it for me to say
Here's a poem of clichés
To resurrect when its exhumed
So here's our love song

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Partially inspired by the song love song by the punk band the damned with the free flow structure based on the ideas of Electric Lady only I have taken it to a more brutal approach. Just to note I dont really think like this, I just thought it would be fun to look at the darker nature of relationship addiction.
