Our Lupus Family Poem by Wendy Lynne Richardson

Our Lupus Family

Rating: 3.5

Purple is the ribbon we wear,
a burden we carry so unfair,
it's reality not all that rare,
our bodies have a lot to bear,
we suffer an invisible nightmare,
support from one's who care,
a cure we all ask in prayer,
until then let's make all aware,
lupus awareness let's all share.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Lupus is a very unseen disease that can be very debilitating. Just because one can not see does not mean it does not exist.
