Our Saviour Poem by Hermione Femalton

Our Saviour

Upon the cross, he gave his life,
And just right then, he paid the price;
For all my sins, all I’ve done,
He gave his one and only son.

My saviour now forever stands,
My life and time are in his hands,
He gives me strength and makes me whole,
He holds my heart and loves my soul.

He cares for me, sees everything;
My pain and fears, my wondering,
He guides me through the darkest night,
He leads me to the holy light.

He gives us faith and joy and hope,
He keeps us calm and helps us cope,
He gives the breath to every child;
He gives the strength to thunder wild.

He’s by my side, every day,
He’s always there, to him I say,
You give me life, I love you most;
Father, son and Holy Ghost.
