Our Teens Poem by SinJace Ramos

Our Teens

Rating: 2.7

Your beauty will last an eternity
With the eyes of my heart I see
Streaks of grey in your hair
One for each moment we shared
Might have lost the swing in your hips
Much like my mind when we kiss
I count my blessing and my luck
Each time we hid in your daddy's truck
Rock&roll playing in the background
As our bodys made their own sound
Less we forget the swimming pool
Where we broke all the rules
Our favorite bench in your front yard
Made love while your mother stood guard
We barely made it out of our teens
When my mom caught us without our jeans
There's nothing I would change
Even if time could be rearranged
