Pain Poem by Jennifer Hardwick

as i lie in this bed
with pain all around
wondering where i could be
plain white walls and small beds
with no one around
this is a hospital but why
scars all over me
who did this
who id going to pay
i will get out of here
i will find the one who did this
and they will pay
here comes the pain
pressing the button
i go back to sleep
hope to wake up
to this all being done
and someone paying
for what they have done
