The signs of sadness are sometimes hidden from view
Some have the ability to hide all they feel
Tucking their pain away deep inside
Choosing not to share all they have to bare
Others lay open their sorrow like a suppurating wound
Let them all meet to endure together their agonies unrelenting
Solace sought in company a solution may seek
Time too may reduce the pain before death
But we never will forget, nor should we of those we love
Do we have to relive the pain in order to pay our due?
