Pain And Grief As Companions Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Pain And Grief As Companions

Pain And Grief As Companions
Stream of my blood flows with pain
And heart beats with rhythm of grief.
Both of them prefer to dwell inside me
As ownership of my body belongs to them.

Their identities are associated with me
They feel proud to introduce me like
A landlord of land which they cultivate
With seed of desaster and flood of tears.

Both of them are contents of my poem
Melody of my saddest song that I've sang.
They are always flavour of my choice
I am here, just because of their entities.

They follow me like my own shadow
I needn't have to fetch any of them.
Like true friends and saviour in need
l feel always them by the side of me.
