Pain That Still Remembers Poem by joshua burckhard

Pain That Still Remembers

let me stay here in the darkness of the world just to dissappear

let the scars remind me that i still live without you

this is how i change since you left
no longer caring about light
no longer caring about blood
just putting on a costume for everyone to smile

let the blood run down these fingers like rain springling from the sky

let god shun me from this land please night just take me away tear out this feeling

please night for her i live for you i swing my sword

please protect her from harm but bring her here into the black the darkness your redeem

please just let my blood be by your hand and lie me down one last time

please just let me say farewell to her for the very last time in this life

but let me change and watch over her with wings anew but blood still running rainning down for her please slice me in two
