Paradoxical Trance. Poem by Morgan Stanton

Paradoxical Trance.

He comes thrown on his own back.
Knees bent, muscles ached.
Struggling and whining.
Though he brought it on himself,
He can't seem to escape.

Feather become stone.
Stone become feather.
What's light is heavy.
What heavy is light.
Paradoxical trance.
