Past Due

As I pondered this pious position,
Of peeling back the skin,
Revealing bone and tendons,
A bare heart and organs in...
Exposed, deficient, tortured,
Bled until I'm dry...
Bleach the bones and pull the teeth,
Remove the tongue... the eyes...
