Peace Of Iraq Poem by KyeongChan Ro

Peace Of Iraq

O, Dear! O, Dear!
How has long been thy peace!
Of the dazzling fireworks
Of the most extreme cheers
Of the keen howls
Of the allegiance to thy peers
The peace thou and thy fellows have desired
Which has arrived already a long time
Now is the time to end it

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is an irony of calling war as 'peace' in Iraq since the writer sees a paradox in Iraq's desire for peace but continuing war forever.
