Peaceful Sunday - Poem by Michael P. McParland
If you were here what a beautiful
peaceful Sunday it would be,
just lazing about and enjoying the day.
Relaxing and spending time together
having fun just you and me.
To just sit back on the couch holding hands
with my right arm wrapped around your shoulders pulling you in,
just dozing in peace and silence with each other,
a peaceful Sunday fit for two true lovers.
Take a stroll in the park with sun shining down,
smiling and giving us warmth.
A beautiful peaceful Sunday strolling along
with my Angel enjoying the beauty surrounding
and basking in the richness of the love that we share.
A dream on this Sunday and future plan.
A peaceful Sunday just sitting and reading,
talking and reliving old times both together and solo,
sharing our lives on a peaceful Sunday.
What could be better than spending a beautiful
Sunday with your beautiful lover?
A peaceful Sunday spent with you is what
dreams are made of and I know they'll come true.
My heart and soul feel the truth that we both know,
we'll spend forever in each others arms.
There will be many peaceful Sundays together,
and I'm excited for every one that is coming.
