Peasant Dance Poem by Justin Gildow

Peasant Dance

Come one
Come all
Let's all join hands
Let's form a circle

Let the band play
Let's dance in the circle

This is one of our most cherished activities
We look so forward to going every day we come to the Faire
I'm on the left, you're on the right
You and I can make the dance right
You and I can be the natural sight

So we'll begin circling to the left and the to the right
Step in with one foot
Step in with the other foot
We then step back and regroup
And then we'll begin to circle again

As this dance ends
We'll acknowledge each other
We'll take our bow
And begin our journey to wherever next
