Pedantic machismo, a facade so grand,
A false sense of power, in a weak man's hand.
A show of dominance, a need to control,
A mask of bravado, that takes its toll.
A narrow mind, that refuses to see,
The flaws in its own masculinity.
A constant need, to prove oneself,
A never-ending cycle, of one's own hell.
A rigid code, of what a man should be,
A limiting belief, that holds one's free.
Insecurities, hidden behind bravado,
A facade, that will surely erode.
For true strength, lies in vulnerability,
In the courage to admit one's fallibility.
Pedantic machismo, is but a show,
True strength is found in letting go.
