Pepperoni Poem by Franz Of Lion

Pepperoni

I want to run with the blue sky.
Chasing that imminent, yet faraway Zephyr.
Once mine, I can have a million pizza slice,
But I need to avoid the rain and threatening thunder.
Of course, I'll share it with my dear friends;
Give the whole box to my loved ones with tissues.
Rock the days away with my wife and hope it never ends.
No worries and issues.
Almost perfect but not.
Just a sweet thought
That popped into my mind.
Wishing it could be mine.
And be that easy,
But no.. I've got to get greasy.
One pizza at a time.
And make it a dime,
For me to look back on and keep going on
In this life that I know I'll be gone.
And living in a dream is a nightmare
Like being stuck in the darkest lair.
I want to leave something nice, and not just pizza.
Something nicer like the painting of Mona Lisa.
By that time, I could rock the days away harder than in my dreams.
Rejoicing my beautiful seams.
And on my glorious day,
I'll be glad that I didn't throw it away.
I'll be in my best suit enjoying the blue sky
While listening to that pop-punk song that I like.
