Perfect Web, Tangled Web Poem by Jude Lavu

Perfect Web, Tangled Web

It starts with a single thread
This web of emotions we weave
Of fine silk and adhesive silk
Just like an orb
So strong our web we weave.

Our hearts intertwined
By these cords not meshy
But of nature so sticky
Just like an orb
Our web so perfect we weave.

Our hearts are the spinnerets
Releasing the first single thread
Carried by the wind of our emotions
To fasten unto a spot so right.

Should the threads run out
Of properties not so adhesive
To encapsulate a prey so mighty
Just like the spider so clever
Mine tangled web i'll consume
And start again with a thread so strong.

This web i intend to build
With perfected skill and mastered artistry
Shall be laced up with the finest of silk
This web, shall be laced up with silk...so royal.
