Perilous Distance Poem by Tor Silvertongue

Perilous Distance

Comfort under stars
I cannot find it
Except Inside your arms.

These same clouds pass overhead,
Yet cannot fill the void in my heart
Not silence the screams inside my head.

I am lost without you,
Dying a little more every time you leave.

Miles between us,
Yet, our heartbeats never part.
Mine bleeds for you,
Does yours call to me?

There's no choice besides you.
