Periwinkle Poem by John Bannister Tabb

Periwinkle

Periwinkle Magdalen,
Ever near the tomb,
Weeps her hidden Lord again
'Mid the twilight gloom;

Till the wonder of surprise
Clears her overclouded eyes,
And the Resurrection lies
In each chalice-bloom.
