Phase Xiv, Safely Hidden Poem by katerina shmelyeva

Phase Xiv, Safely Hidden

especially
when the clouds are
so dense and dark,
the moon makes merry
'bout our eyes' credulity -
it's ALWAYS there,

that tart tongued
general book-keeper
of compromising heartquests
and desires, it smiles
above us far beyond
our exercises in futility,
perfectly fair.
