Phone Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Phone

I sit there in this dim light,
Looking at the phone.
My heart is beating,
My mind is racing.
I know we had our good times,
But we also had our bad.
There is somthing about you,
That made me happy.
But that was a facade,
It wasn't really me.
How can I end something
That seemed so perfect.
How can I tell you that
I wanted to go back to the way it was?
We had our secrets,
We had our laughs.
Maybe if I just said the words
Maybe you would give us another chance.
I know what I must do.
I know this is what I want.
So, I grab the phone and call.
The one person who gave everything its all.
This is the only way.
Cause when I'm around you
I can't get my feelings out.
It washes away and is replaced.
So I say through the phone,
The thing I wished never would happen.
I call you to say goodbye,
Even though I don't want it to be.
I call through the phone
Because you were so perfect
That I can't make your memory fade.
