Pictures Of You - Poem by Daniel McCann

Looking through pictures of what we used to be
young faces
old image
but the moments we shared are still new to me
we have been in a drawer collecting dust
and I know keeping us, is stupid but
your the only person I could ever really trust.

I just wanna call you
I just wanna talk to you
tell you how I feel
give you love
coz I finally know its real

I sit in sorrow feeling like no one understands
when I go out all I see is happy couples holding hands
I'm looking for someone like me
I whish I could find someone like me
to make me laugh
but all I have
is you
and your a photograph.
