Plan Ahead

I’d erred and strayed through hill and vale
Living a life of strife
Until I heard my name would fail
Within the book of life

I truly thought I knew it all
From life was nought to win
Until I read of Adam’s fall
And consequence of sin

Consider God these latter days
Reflect on what’s in store
Repent of sin change now your ways
This side of death’s dark door

Marvellous times are planned ahead
Countless things to wonder
For those who Jesus Christ have wed
Once life is torn asunder

No eye has seen no ear has heard
Beyond our present plight
Treasure’s prescribed within God’s word
For whom God’s found delight

Heaven and earth will pass away
Kingdoms will rise and fall
Yet every pledge of God will stay
For those who heed His call

Fear not the day on earth you die
Nor dread God’s Promised Land
For those in Christ He’ll not deny
The future Heaven planned

So much awaits each child of man
Such wonders will we find
What fool would daunt The Father’s plan?
Would leave such hope behind?
