Platinum Poem by Timmy Curran

Platinum

Waiting, wishing for some luck
I´m saying, I need a couple bucks
Not paying, the rent this week
Complaining about my seat

Gazing, focused on the stage
She´s laying, on a bed of sage
She´s reigning, pulling me in
I´m straying, away from you, my friend

Praying, but I don´t know how
Framing, her picture on the wall
Complicating, and burning bridges
Debating, about my decisions
