Pleading For Love Poem by Okello Baloyi

Pleading For Love

I'm pleading out for your love
We've been friends for some time now
But it feels like we've known each other forever
I know this would compromise a lot, but you mean much to me
You deserve much than being in a miserable place
I just wanna take your misery and replace it with happiness
Is too much what I'm asking but damn I care a lot for you
Every hug we exchanged turned into another sleepless night
The thought of us being together is greater than winning lottery
Everything may change but we'll still be closer for sure
Can we be together and rejoice in this loving thing
Friends we are but it needs to be upgraded
You already know much about me, as I know about you
My feelings for you keeps growing
Patient I've been but waiting kills my spirit
I know you need some time to rethink all of this
But it's another thing
I'm scared of the outcome cause it has been forever now
You're everything a real man would desire
There's something more than friends in this relationship
Love hidden in the name of friends
And we'll always be friends no matter any situation
It scares the hell out of me to lose you in anyway
Whenever I'm down you pull me up
And turn me back to focus
