Plum Blossoms Poem by Wenjun Liu

Plum Blossoms

Her lips paled with cold
Her smile quieted by snow
With heavy lids, she 's not asleep yet.
Under her gown, snow rained down still.
Out of blue,
Two birds cooed.
It gave her a chill.
Through her curls
suddenly unveiled
Winked her mischievious soul.
