कविता तुम पर लिखूं,
या कविता में तुम्हें लिखूं।
सपनों के बारे मे लिखूं,
या अपना सपना ही तुम्हें लिखूं।
बात तो एक ही है।

दिल में बसेरा तेरा लिखूं,
या दिल ही बस तेरा लिखूं।
अपनी तन्हाई की वजह लिखूं,
या इंतजार सिर्फ तेरा बस इतना लिखूं।
बात तो एक ही है।

दुनिया जहां की बाते लिखूं,
याअपनी दुनिया ही तुम्हें लिखूं।
मोहब्बत के बारे में लिखूं,
या बस नाम तेरा लिख दूं।
बात तो एक ही हैं।

Should I write a poem about you,
or write you into the poem?
Should I write about dreams,
or write my dream as you?
It's all the same.

Should I write about you residing in my heart,
or write that my heart belongs only to you?
Should I write about the reason for my loneliness,
or simply write that I'm waiting only for you?
It's all the same.

Should I write about the world and everything in it,
or write that my world is you?
Should I write about love,
or simply write your name?
It's all the same.
