Somewhere out there
on this flat earth believers globe
a poet's word testimonial
helped save a life

one of you poetry writers,
amongst all the shadow people
in the digital poetry scape,

penned a life-preserver poem.
It gave CPR, via your words,
to a stranger in need and

if it was you who wrote it----
you are a poet

hero.
Your shared words are more
than digital screen artistry.

A hero among us, it can be said.
You, or your poet neighbor...
made a difference.
Kept a fellow human
from premature rigor mortis
stiffness.

You shared the right words
at the right time
that touched a heart and mind
in the best of ways.
