Why be so numb why be so numb

Why look at pain and try act dumb

Why stay there and act not

And you fret why I have forgot

You point the finger at me

Like I did the deed that set forth my deed

yet you claim to bore the seed

They have spoken, yea, shouted their yea

humbug I say

Like I am guilty If free will is Then why claim to foresee

My heart: numb with apathy

too numb to entertain thy empty will see
