Together with this random crowd, I walked under the summer heat
I heard a bird flapping its wings.. No, it was my overreacting heartbeat
Something caught my attention; it wasn't the sun nor the people falling in line,
It was your eyes; I held your gaze as you held mine.
You were like the statue of Adonis, only better.
Your heart-melting smile made me gasp for more air..
In perfect slow motion, you walked towards me,
My whole being screamed with so much glee.
You stopped just inches away from me.
Your voice sounded like sweet symphony.
All that I craved for was to see the view
Walking hand-in-hand, just me and you.
As I was about to move closer and speak to you,
In a matter of seconds, you were gone without any cue.
I was dumbstruck when I learned that it wasn't me
But her that you came to see.
