Pondering Poem by Sindal Benson

i have often pondered,
over things of wonder.
whether rain knows,
whats truly in a soul.
whether happiness is,
really an emotional crisis.
whether war will ever cease,
and bring eternal peace.
whether the sky is actually blue,
or if we just see it that way.
whether or not love will overpower pain,
or if hatred will rule.
whether or not the fighting will ever stop.
whether anything is this world is true,
or if everything i know is a lie.
whether anything worth believeing has any kind of meaning.
whether life is really better that death,
or if death is the only way out.
whether i deserve to live or not anyways.
whether the sun will shine,
or the rain will cry.
whether trust is a gift
as is respect and truthfullness.
whether we actually exist.
i have often pondered,
