The track fields a ruin of red rubble
Scar tissue cracks caked with dry blood
the drum major leads his band geek marauders
Hunting for fresh meat in quailing freshmen
In their leather puldrons the marching band roam
Playing a dirge to the corpse of Teen spirit
The football captain drinks the mascots skull
passing his cup to his tribesmen in blue jerseys
They hovel in the grave of a wrecked stadium
As cheerleader death squads make their patrols
Looking for sacrifices for their varsity deities
Death's a fun sport that is always in season
Drama club kids have fortified the theatre
Staging executions to all of their critics
On Saturdays they perform West Side Story
Aiming their spears on their captive audience
The stage crew chain the chorus in their cages
Breaking the legs of treacherous understudies
Schools out since the mushroom cloud bloomed
And left the principle vaporized by the flag
All the teachers are locked in detention
Only the cannibals give passing grades
Still there's a bright side to radiation sickness
Nobody sings the national anthem
