Poverty Poem by Anirudh Induchudan Anirudh Induchudan

Poverty

beside the street
beneath the tent
lies two children
weeping

they didnot have thier food in night
so they cannot sleep
thier mother is selling her flesh
behind nearby bush
to a lorry driver

with that money
she has to
wipe thier tears.
