Poverty And Prostitutes. Poem by Scarlett Rose

Poverty And Prostitutes.

Prostitution is a sin…..
A sin I want to throw in the bin
But I can't stop now because of Pride
For my Children will die without Food for the Night
The street lights are very much high as a kite
As the car Stops and blow me to come
I Can feel nothing but Sadness and being numb.
This was never my choice
Lost in the shadows of the streets without a voice
Cuts and bruises occupying my skin
When I look up all I see is a Grin
I am nothing of Value or purpose
As the clowns play with my body like a circus
Never the less I chose not to cry
I'm so Damaged My heart became Dry.
