You see my thoughts my plans laid bare
Desire to change my ways
Toward a future life out there
Beyond these latter days

Make clear to me the great unknown
Reveal what shadows veil
Explain what only spirits groan
That I may cease to fail

Let’s scrutinise my unknown rights
Examine all my wrongs
That I may rise to higher heights
Where righteousness belongs

You! The Sewer of living seed
The facts to comprehend
The Truth revealing all I need
Beyond the unseen bend

Beyond where life and death divide
Where tears and darkness cease
Where on The Wind Your chosen ride
In glory joy and peace

Please forgive me where I’ve failed You
Pardon my foolish ways
Withhold from what a sinners due
Extend Your servant’s days

That I may change my wicked mind
Cease now each futile fight
Request that I walk no more blind
And greet The Morning Light

Lend ear toward this heartfelt prayer
Delight in this my song
Forgive, allow my love to share
With He who did no wrong
