Preach Poem by Sheldon Carruthers

Preach

The impoverished heart
the ungrateful upstart
The miraculous healer
the heroin dealer
The world gone wrong
the atom bomb
A world full of suffering
A mother who's smothering
A chanting monk
A shouting punk
A lost childhood
A forgotten grandparent
A mad uncle
An exuberant nephew
