Pressure (A Sonnet) Poem by Stephanie Souter

Pressure (A Sonnet)

My mind dwells on the next step that leads on
Walking stalking for its chance to begin
Coutless my mind plays this over again
Boiling liquid brain drips off my chin
Air barely excapes my constricted lungs
Fire tear at my empty stomach pain
Unable to speak with my frozen tongue
Too much pressure builds in my twisted veins
My sneakers are a cumbersome weight
Wishes are now painted across my face
Im a destraction causing them to wait
They Toss me and dont care the landing place
My emotion rings like a metal gate
The monster i created now eats me
I hold to a tollerable degree
