Prisoners Of Ligh Poem by Allegro Leon K.

Prisoners Of Ligh

Today I embrace
All the fears of the world,
That, in their might,
Make me a prisoner,
Confined inside my own light,
Greeting its infinite benevolence
With self-punishing anger.
Pressing firm the cages of terror,
Burning me alive
In the pits of my eternal sins,
Not punished for my corruptions,
But by them, in their appealing sparks.
They carve my pathways to misery,
When light doesn' t luster strong enough
To unveil the delicate serenity
Beyond malice.
All the glory of wealth and egoic triumphs fade
Before the forgiving divine grace.
