PROFICIENCY AND PRIZES

Proficiency is defined as advancement
In knowledge or skill one must be excellent

The quality or state of being proficient
Is the opposite of being mediocre or inefficient

Proficiency is IQ, mastership, command
Be proficient and you'll be in demand

Technique, competence and skillfulness is needed
Be a cut above the others and you've succeeded

Proficiency once achieved leads to this stage
Being rewarded for your hard work, your coming of age

To confer or bestow as being deserved
Merited or needed as observed

A grant, a reward, blue ribbon or accolade
Is given to those always shining, not willing to fade

Distinction, honor, kudos or plume
Will come to you only when you bloom

With proficiency comes in full size
The thrill of being the best, the fantastic prize

So,  when you're a combination of the two
Oh!  How good this is for you! !

Being proficient however isn't all
What's important is what you do with your call

Prizes, trophies and medals later
Be useful to Mother India, make her greater

Offer your services for her further advancement
Be content that you've served towards her development! !
