Promises are what you made me
Lies are what you told me
I believed every word that you said
But now that I look back I feel ashamed

To have known about you
And your past
But still believe every word you said

I wish I had an explanation
Other than love
My defects becoming clear
And I now I give up

Now to know the reality
Is worse
Than the unimaginable
